# Getting started

Perchly hosts private Swift packages behind the standard SE-0292 registry protocol.
Once your org is set up, consuming a package is a two-step process: point the Swift
CLI at Perchly once, then declare the dependency by identifier.

## 1. Point the Swift CLI at your org

```bash
swift package-registry set https://registry.perchly.dev
```

## 2. Add the dependency

Every package on Perchly resolves via its identifier, not a URL — the same registry
entry works no matter which org you depend on.
